Kim Norwood, a distinguished retired US Army chaplain, devoted over three decades of service to the spiritual and emotional well-being of service members and their families. Born and raised in a small town, Kim's early life was marked by a profound sense of community and faith, which later inspired a career dedicated to service and compassion. After completing a degree in theology, Kim answered the call to serve both God and country by joining the military chaplaincy.

 

 Throughout a remarkable career, Colonel Norwood was stationed in various locations around the world, providing support and guidance in times of peace and conflict. Known for a compassionate demeanor and unwavering dedication, Kim was a beacon of hope and resilience for those facing the challenges of military life. Whether offering solace during deployments or celebrating joyous occasions, Colonel Norwood's presence was a constant source of strength.

 

 In addition to pastoral duties, Kim played a pivotal role in developing programs focused on mental health and resilience, ensuring service members had the resources they needed to thrive. Since retiring, Colonel Norwood continues to inspire through speaking engagements and community involvement, currently serving with his wife and partner Cindy as Pastor of First Baptist Church in Munday, Texas.
