Music Ministry

At First Baptist church, we believe in the power of community and the importance of connecting with others on a spiritual level.  We believe that music is a fantastic way to reach people where they are.  Music not only touches our heart strings but worships our Father and moves the Holy Spirit in our hearts.  Our FBC Choir team does an awesome job of helping lead in worship.  Our Choir spans young and old and is as mix on contemporary praise music and traditional Hymns we all love.   There are regular choir specials and a Christmas Cantata that is produced with a community choir.  No matter your skill join our choir and music program and make a joyful noise to the Lord.  It is music with a spiritual message that connects us to God, that connects to our hearts and connects us to each other. One God, One Church and endless possibilities.

Brotherhood Men's Ministry

Every second Monday of the month the men of First Baptist Church enjoy breakfast together and plan the next month's activities.  This group of men are currently serving as our lawn crew to save the church money.  They are also very willing to help with other duties including cleanup or any home repairs for our poor and widows.  Do not forget, their annual fish fry is coming July 18th.  Everyone is invited to attend or help out no matter church affiliation.  We do have a devotional and occassional speakers during our monthly meetings and are currently considering a monthly men's study.

Game Night

Whether its Mexican Train, 42 or various card games: at FBC Munday our Senior members lead with a community game night.  It is designed to bring people together and deepen relationships and make new friends.  Each Monday evening at 5pm except holidays, its game night at the FBC fellowship hall as we host our entire community; pulling members from several denominations and faiths to come together and have good Christian fun.   Monday nights beginning at 5pm. Come join us and discover the joy of growing together in faith!  One God, One Church and endless possibilities.
